The McLaren MP4/8 entered 1993 without the Honda power that had defined McLaren's previous era. Powered instead by a Ford V8 that was down on power compared with its strongest rivals, This piece captures both 1993 McLarens emerging from the Monaco tunnel, driven by Ayrton Senna and Michael Andretti.
A subtle F-15 overhead adds another machine to the scene, but the MP4/8s remain firmly at its centre.
